Swiftly, slyly, she hides inside my dreams and keeps me awake the whole night through —
until at last I fall asleep in her arms, of love and of life.

Asleep in Her Arms
-
Like a Shadow
Everywhere I go, they follow me like a shadow;
every time I try to forgive myself, they point back at me. Every day they burn my other self, and alone, I only hope to match them… -
The Deep Well
I watch, still, but everything else is moving fast;
I turn my head, and the world is lightning, painted red. I push into the deep well, though I know its depth;
I wonder what time is, and what the height of success is —
and I witness the fliers of the skies. -
No Tomorrow
No expectations —
I am simply drowning myself in something known or unknown;
no complaints —
I am ruining, or running, just my own way. No dreams on hold;
I am living, or living for them, every day. I say there is no tomorrow, for there is no part of me apart —
I love this life like this, too varied to live, and to pass through here. -
Herald of a New Life
I am not stepping aside;
I am the end of sorrow and the beginning of a new world. From hope to higher hope I aspire —
the world is not the same each day;
it varies, but never disguises. I am the herald of a new life, and the memory of one time. -
The Key to What I Am
I am the sea of thoughts, the dusk of the herd;
I am a message of love, a traveler of the world. To someone I am a single word, to another I am everything —
but still I am looking for the key to what I am. -
The Limit Is the Endless Sky
Let me fly, and swing along the line;
hold me tight, or I’ll say goodbye. Catch me slyly, or I am the master of the sky;
give me hope, and let the air carry me —
I know my heights, but the limit is the endless sky. -
I Hold Her Dreams
I look at her and lose myself, and she smiles and laughs at my madness;
I hold her dreams as if I were her dream. She watches me in secret and never admits she did;
I weave a dream, and she travels through it, never wanting to turn back —
and love goes on, with my every word. -
She Comes from Dreams
She comes from dreams and sits beside me as I sleep;
she hides, yet her world seeks my eyes as they glance at her. She lingers, trying me with her smile, till I am lost in its depth —
she speaks in silent words, and I wonder, and I listen. -
When I Wonder
I am slowly stepping into your shadow in the moonlight,
and the wind is blowing wild tonight;
I am alone, searching for you in every thought,
wondering what it would be like if you were here.I wish to hold your arms
and kiss you till the last ray of moonlight;
I pause every moment just for you,
wondering — how would it be, if life got this real?I stare back at the moon, again and again,
just to catch a glance of your eyes;
they pierce through my every thought a while,
and make me wonder how deep I am lost in them.I look around for you, but you are everywhere —
in my breath, in my soul, in my eyes;
and I close my eyes and wonder
how I wake up in your arms every time.
