  • You

    I am searching for my solace everywhere —
    in fields far away, in the sky below the blue,
    in the green near my heart, in memories above all;
    face to face, it is just you, in all…

    I am searching for my peace, every day —
    in the dark of day, on the dawn of the moon,
    in the rise of cold, within a rising tremor;
    and you, in every thought, by day and night…

    I am searching for my smile —
    in the cry of a child, in the company of you,
    in the breaking sky, in the joy of midnight’s crises;
    losing myself, second after second, in you…

    I am searching for the words to define you —
    in the love of you, in the smile of you,
    in the eyes of you, in the day of you;
    and in how much I love you…

  • Lie and Lieu

    A wink — a liar, you are, and your eyes;
    they speak of something, but unknown;
    close to the truth, but far from reality,
    where the sun rises at night, sleeps with the sand, and mourns.

    Tomorrow, maybe, it rains; but beneath the shelter,
    the one I call mine, and the other of lies —
    but time will pass, and life moves on,
    and tonight, I have you in my heart.

    I can feel it, my heart, miles apart;
    and every time I try to part it down,
    it runs back to you,
    with every thought that crosses my mind.

    Though you live in my heart,
    the rain today will end, and shine;
    over the ray hidden in you,
    time will win back my love…

  • Pastimes

    Toward there, and the way it possesses —
    spanning all my past and future,
    I walk behind a shadow of mine,
    and hope to shine one day…

    I see the end, and the start,
    having been through point to line;
    always so close to success —
    but does desire ever cease, this way?

    New hope, and old remembrance;
    an old suit, and a fake smile again;
    and I believe in yesterday,
    when expectation hangs of its own…

    Love was easy, and breath;
    but with its going, I was lost —
    in today’s end, today’s success,
    walking alone behind myself, today.

  • Journey

    I walk on the sky, I play with the wind;
    I sleep with the moon, and wake with the sun;
    I love everyone, and someone —
    today, I am the one: you.

  • Her Smile

    She is tenderly hiding herself in a smile,
    spreading happiness, while hiding her eyes;
    more precious than the narrowest light,
    when she whispers a new song every day…

    Slightly she shies away with her smile,
    its traces leaving joy amid the cry;
    the more she looks around — but love
    stays back with her, and hope, inside me.

    Every day of her raises a voice,
    but with a gentle caress, it settles into a smile;
    though far from the moon and its light,
    she smiles, and loves, beneath the starry sky…

    An endless gaze, through her eyes;
    the farther I reach, the more I lose mine;
    and she smiles, girlish and shy —
    and I fly to endless joy, in the smile of her eyes…

  • She

    She speaks little, but her eyes hold a whole sea of the world;
    she holds me seldom, yet her heart is always full of the lover;
    though she knows me little, she loves me for all that I am —
    but she does not know: I will be everything she ever desired.

  • Hunger

    I look around through my doomed eyes:
    brighter than the sun, the night is now;
    I travel my memories once more,
    and find one child, waiting, counting,
    and another, counting on survival,
    who offers more happiness than mine.
    The city is filled with bulbs and sweets,
    and a melancholic mind, like mine.

    I open my arms to reach him,
    but the silence of my own stands between us;
    those gleaming, shimmering eyes, staring at me,
    leave me worthless, and full of thought.
    What is the meaning of my life, my brightness,
    when all around, in one, I see only darkness?

    I reach for my wallet, out of pity —
    but pity itself dares to hope;
    I close my eyes, and think:
    when all of this is around — but not happiness;
    those sweets, those crackers,
    waiting to burst, and to laugh,
    a day to love, a joy for one and all —
    but all day long, he goes without.

  • Inside and Outside

    It graces out the pride — the sky,
    with a glimpse of the forever past;
    and this world rejoices in pain,
    but not the one who has claimed the self.
    Take the ray, and make it a prayer,
    till it shines — outside the dark,
    inside, and outside…

  • Journey of Self

    Wake up, into the close of night,
    when dreams are of the morning;
    love and peace all around,
    and the euphoria of a new day.
    With the sun’s height,
    hope, and waving tides,
    some players around the corner,
    others waiting for another morning.

    Wake up, into the start of the day,
    with the aim of walking again to the destined;
    to the endless, but known, roads —
    one with the glorious red lights,
    and another, of endless desires.
    But the time is right with the dawn:
    new day, new hope,
    just like a sun ray, soaking everything.
    Today is the day — when it starts:
    the journey of self.

  • She Comes and Goes

    I am far through the sea’s depth, but still lost within;
    I reach my thoughts and speak to myself — but of you…

    I ask her to come in dreams, not in life — though I want her there;
    I wonder at her eyes each day, despite the tears I collect every time…

    I asked her to come and live again, for all the love that still remains;
    and she makes her moves, while I waste my time…

    She comes, and goes, and whispers — sad, this time;
    but I know, alas, she is the one — I laughed through all my past, with a cry.
